6000M EXPEDITIONS

Where elite performance meets the mountain. Guided 6000m peak expeditions designed for the serious mountain athlete — not the tourist.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

The industry calls it luxury. We call it what serious mountain performance demands.

At Move Outdoors, every element of our 6000m expeditions — the nutrition at base camp, the acclimatisation schedule, the guide-to-climber ratio, the recovery protocol between high camps — is engineered around one principle: putting you in the best possible condition to summit safely and return stronger.

What others sell as a premium upgrade, we regard as non-negotiable craftsmanship. We are mountain athletes ourselves. We have stood on these summits in every condition. And we have built these programs with the same obsessive attention to detail that defines every great ascent. Small groups. Hand-selected routes. Guides who know these peaks by name.

This is artisanal expedition management — and in India, no one does it the way we do.

6000 m INDIAN HIMALAYA

LADAKH CHAPTER

KANG YATSE I (6,400m)

The elder of the Kang Yatse massif. A full alpine objective — glacier approach, a steep technical ridge, and views that encompass the entire Zanskar range. This is where you stop training for bigger mountains and start climbing them.

KANG YATSE II (6,250m)

India's finest entry point into serious altitude. Approached through the Markha Valley — one of the most culturally rich landscapes in Ladakh — with a final ridge that demands respect. The Karakoram and Zanskar unfurl below you at the top.

MENTOK KANGRI MASSIF (6,250m)

MENTOK KANGRI MASSIF (6,250m)

MENTOK KANGRI MASSIF (6,250m)

Remote, cold, and brutally beautiful. Set above the impossibly blue Tso Moriri lake at 4,500m, Mentok Kangri demands acclimatisation discipline and rewards it with one of the most dramatic summit panoramas in all of Ladakh.

KIAGER RI (6,100m)

MENTOK KANGRI MASSIF (6,250m)

MENTOK KANGRI MASSIF (6,250m)

One of India's best winter expedition peaks, and a favourite for Evolution™ athletes testing their hypoxic conditioning in real terrain. Wide, open plateau approach with a demanding final altitude push — and almost no one else on the mountain.

HIMACHAL CHAPTER

MANIRANG (6,593m)

The highest climbable peak in Himachal Pradesh and arguably the most dramatic — a serrated summit pyramid that dominates the Spiti skyline. Technical, remote, and genuinely committing. This is a mountain that demands your best.

CB-13 (6,264m)

Chandra Bhaga 13 — a name that tells you the terrain is serious before you even look at the route. Green valley approaches give way to raw ice and rock. A superb intermediate expedition peak in one of Himachal's most beautiful river valleys.

DEO TIBBA (6,001m)

DEO TIBBA (6,001m)

The gateway 6000er of the Kullu Valley. Glacier travel, a scenic approach through Himalayan meadows, and a summit that gives you the full sweep of the Pir Panjal. A perfect introduction to expedition-style climbing for athletes stepping up from trekking peaks.

UTTRAKHAND CHAPTER

SHIVLING (6,543m)

BANDARPUNCH (6,316m)

BANDARPUNCH (6,316m)

The Matterhorn of the Himalayas. A granite and ice spire of extraordinary beauty rising above the Gangotri Glacier — sacred, severe, and breathtaking. Shivling is not a mountain you approach casually. It is a mountain you earn the right to attempt.

BANDARPUNCH (6,316m)

BANDARPUNCH (6,316m)

BANDARPUNCH (6,316m)

A Garhwal classic with cultural weight to match its altitude. The ridgeline approach, sweeping snowfields, and rich pilgrimage history make Bandarpunch one of the most complete expedition experiences available in Uttarakhand. Challenging without requiring elite technical skills.

THALAY SAGAR (6,904m)

THALAY SAGAR (6,904m)

THALAY SAGAR (6,904m)

One of the most beautiful and ferocious walls in the Himalayas. Thalay Sagar is not a peak — it is a statement. Reserved for experienced alpinists who have proven themselves across multiple 6000m and 7000m objectives. The ultimate Garhwal challenge.

KIAGER RI (6,100m)

THALAY SAGAR (6,904m)

THALAY SAGAR (6,904m)

One of India's best winter expedition peaks, and a favourite for Evolution™ athletes testing their hypoxic conditioning in real terrain. Wide, open plateau approach with a demanding final altitude push — and almost no one else on the mountain.
